Airmaster Apprentice named Box Hill Institute Apprentice of the Year

Melbourne-based Refrigeration Mechanic Apprentice Cody Duff has collected two awards at Box Hill Institute’s annual Student and Apprentice of the Year Awards.

In his fourth-year as an apprentice at Airmaster, Cody collected both the Refrigeration Department’s 3rd Year Apprentice of the Year as well as the TAFE’s overall 3rd Year Apprentice of the Year Awards.

The Box Hill Institute Student of the Year Awards celebrates their finest pupils, recognising a select few as winners from the over 40,000 students eligible for nomination.

“These Awards demonstrate the talent and dedication of our TAFE students, who are developing the skills they need to achieve their future goals,” said Victorian Minister for Training and Skills Steve Herbert.

“We are extremely proud of Cody’s achievement,” said Airmaster Account & Operations Manager for Apprentices Matt Davey. “This recognition is a credit to the way Cody has conducted himself throughout his entire apprenticeship.”

As a result of this recognition, Box Hill Institute has nominated Cody for Victorian Apprentice of the Year, where he is nominated alongside other Apprentice of the Year recipients from other TAFEs across Victoria.
