Partnership with Kontrol's BioCloud® Technology to provide real-time detection of airborne pathogens such as SARS-CoV-2 to create peace of mind.
Airmaster today announced the launch of SafeSpace, alongside an exclusive distribution agreement with Kontrol Technologies for their BioCloud™ air quality monitoring and viral detection technology.
SafeSpace is a full-service solution by Airmaster providing continuous monitoring of the internal environment and the early detection of airborne pathogens such as those found in the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) virus. Through real-time analysis of the environment, including temperature and particulates, SafeSpace supports facilities and buildings by allowing them to operate safely and efficiently, providing peace of mind to occupants.
The Kontrol BioCloud technology samples the air continuously through a proprietary and patented process. When the device detects a virus, it sends a communication in the Cloud or over local intranet, notifying facility managers and building owners in real-time. With this actionable information, they can then take the measures needed to mitigate virus outbreaks in the facility.
SafeSpace includes a comprehensive installation, service and maintenance program and can be enhanced by additional Indoor Environment Quality (IEQ) technologies such as CO2, VOC’s and Relative Humidity. Optional Building Management System (BMS) integrations provide automated intervention and advanced demand ventilation that mitigate risks by promoting healthy ventilated spaces.
"As we embark on a new era and approach to facilities management and indoor environment quality, it is vital we extend our services and solutions in order to combat COVID-19 and help businesses adapt safely and with confidence in this new normal,” said Noel Courtney, CEO of Airmaster.
“Kontrol is a forward-thinking organisation and their research and development of BioCloud allows Airmaster and Optimum Air to offer a full-service solution that provides safer spaces and peace of mind for our customers across Australia and New Zealand."
"Kontrol is excited to enter into a distribution partnership with Airmaster. We look forward to delivering air quality and real-time space monitoring technology to the environment through this partnership," added Paul Ghezzi, CEO of Kontrol.
SafeSpace is an end-to-end solution suitable for a wide range of facility types, from commercial offices buildings, shopping centres and airports, to healthcare, government and education facilities.
