Energy Management and Automation specialist Schneider Electric recently held a virtual seminar as part of their annual Innovation Day event. With the world changing at an unprecedented pace, the 2020 event focused around Resilient Digital Transformation.
Industries are transforming as organisations adopt new technologies including artificial Intelligence, 5G, IoT and more. At the foundation of this transformation is always-on digital infrastructure requiring organisations to be resilient and agile in responding with
innovations.
As part of the event’s welcoming address, Schneider Electric’s Senior Vice President,
Secure Power Division, Natalya Makarochkina discussed the Building Services Network solution designed and installed by Airmaster at Canberra’s Tuggeranong Office Park
Discussed by Makarochkina as a project utilising reliable edge computing infrastructure, the BSN, deployed by Airmaster in conjunction with APC by Schneider Electric, uses an Ethernet platform that brings together services such as BMS, security, lighting control, energy metering and more, streamlining operations and minimising overhead duplications.
This approach provides commonality for data transfer between all engineering systems onsite and reduces the amount of cabled infrastructure and hardware throughout the building.
Airmaster is proud to be appointed to an exclusive network of Schneider Electric EcoXperts. Each EcoXpert has access to dedicated, continuous training and involvement with specialised technical and commercial support as part of Schneider Electric’s commitment to their elite partners.
Airmaster, in addition to the EcoXpert accreditation are also a Schneider Electric APC Premier Partner, specialising in Uninterruptible Power Systems, Data Centre Cooling and IT infrastructure.
