The Croydon Community School east of Melbourne works with some of Victoria’s most disadvantaged students, it uses a special education model that focuses on students potential, and gives them a second chance.
This special education model, developed in the United States, sees students learn by working from their passions and by spending time gaining practical experience through internships to deepen their knowledge and skills.
Airmaster’s involvement with the program was a result of the vision of CEO Noel Courtney, who was determined to make a big difference to someone’s life by offering a school-based apprenticeship.
